This blog is where you can find news about what is going on in class. If you miss a class, or forget what is due or coming up, you can check here.

I will also post your writing assignments here, in addition to handing them out in class, and any other assignments. So if you lose the piece of paper I give you, you can come here and find it. And there is a link to your syllabus here, so when you lose the one I just gave you, you can come here and reprint it, and not have to go through the embarrassment of asking for another.

Today we covered chapter 4,and hw for it is due monday.

Read ch 5 for monday.

Also,first quiz,covering ch 2-5 will be 2 weeks from today,9/22.

First Writing Assignment (Friday Class Only)

Your first writing assignment is to use what you have learned in chapters 1-5 to analyze THIS STORY from the Boulder Daily Camera. Using graphs to show what is going on is a great way to score well on the short paper. Paper should be about 2 pages long, typed. Due Friday 10/1.

Reminder to all classes

Last day to turn in any homework or extra credit is Monday 5/3 unless it is assigned for a date later than that. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Monday 11/30

We covered ch 19, and ch 19 hw is due on Wed.

Chapter 10/11/12 homework is now optional, with the score being added to your score.

Last day to turn in anything is Monday 12/7
