We had an impromptu field trip, and if you were late or missed class, you missed an interesting talk by a former player in the Negro Leagues talking about discrimination, which will be a topic for later in the course.

Everything we were going to do is pushed back a day.

Tonight we covered the rest of ch 6, and went over ch 4 hw. We will review for next Monday's quiz on Wed. Also, ch 6 hw due wed.

We covered the rest of ch 5, and started ch 6. Ch 5 homework due monday. Read ch 7.
